This academic exercise presents a historically significant site with existing precedent architecture. Understanding the nature of the surrounding context, a strategy is proposed that would draw the visitor through the existing components of the gardens and culminate with the visitor center intervention nestled in the retaining walls that mediate the topographic changes that occur throughout the site.
